Adele Quartley Brown's Grand Prize Winner, Birthing Clinic Road ...
". . . is a powerful image that ties together climate, natural hard scapes like earth, and our humanity. We leave a mark that only water can wash away. Knowing the journey is part of the process of sustaining life, this image is layered with symbolism."
Crista Dix, Executive Director, Griffin Museum of Photography, 2023
Review of " NEXT ... "
"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I personally find these images are captivating. The transformation of the content is not only beautiful but in the context of what you are describing. . . you are finding rich and complex ways of exploring the ideas. And that melding of form and content is, of course, a vital aspect to successful art."
