Exhibition Highlights
Juror Crista Dix selected Birthing Clinic Road, as the Grand Prize winner of an international competition, "Water," hosted by the New York Center for Photographic Arts in June 2023.
My diptych, Burial, was selected by gallerist/curator Deborah Klomp Ching for an April 2023 juried group exhibition in NYC, "Same But Different," sponsored by the New York Center for Photographic Arts.
In April 2023, Hanging On, was selected by curator Lisa Volpe for inclusion inThe Griffin Museum of Photography's 29th Annual Member Show.
Street Encounters was my first museum exhibition. Held at the Arlington Museum of Art in 2020, this group show was curated by Paula Tognarelli. The photo, Historic Site (Israel), was taken at the Inn of the Good Samaritan.
In April 2021, Birthing Clinic Road (Uganda) was selected by juror and art consultant, Victoria Burns, as one of 25 works for display on billboards in Los Angeles for The Creative Billboard's 7th Annual Juried Exhibition celebrating emerging artists.

Awards & More Exhibitions
Adele's work has been exhibited in two Barcelona Biennales and received several awards. In 2023 Adele received the Grand Prize for "Birthing Clinic Road" in an international competition hosted by The New York Center for Photographic Arts. The 17th Julia Margaret Cameron competition awarded her two First Prize series awards in 2022 and Honorable Mentions in their 15th and 16th competitions. In 2021, juror Jan Howard honored Adele's photos with Third Prize at the Rhode Island Center of Photographic Art's exhibition, All Together Now.
So It Goes, the literary journal of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum & Library, selected Adele's photographs for two consecutive volumes, including in 2022 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the author's birth.
In December 2022, Pan Handling, appeared on the cover of the Winter Issue of Beyond Words, a literary magazine.
Adele's images have also appeared in other gallery shows and online in the literary journal, Reservoir Road.
